Nikki Peoples
Nikki Peoples is a retired naval officer who served on surface ships. She grew up in California where she developed an appreciation for outdoor activities and Eastern culture. She is sucker for zombie movies, travel, animals, and jiu-jitsu. She’s also a bit of a Mexican food snob and a great lover of anything with peanut butter in it.
Nikki fell in love with storytelling at a young age. Children of the Sun by Jan Carew, The Royal Book of Ballet by Shirley Goulden and C.S’ Lewis’ The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and the Curious George series by Margret Rey and H. A. Rey are just a few of the books that sparked her love of reading. She also saw the movie Ladyhawk in the movie theater probably more than a dozen times.
Nikki lives in Knoxville, Tennessee with her husband, a couple of border collies, a pack of Australian heelers and one mouthy beagle.
The Station is Nikki’s first science fiction novel. She also enjoys writing fantasy fiction and adventures that feature heroines who are fiercely independent, funny, and brave.
